DStv Ghana Upgrade Offer Ends December 2025- No Armagh Dagadu

The Head of Corporate Affairs at MultiChoice Ghana, Nii Armah Dagadu, has confirmed that the special DStv upgrade offer for Ghanaian customers will run until December 2025.

He explained that after the period ends, a committee will assess the initiative’s impact before deciding on its continuation.

Mr. Dagadu disclosed this during an interview on GHTODAY with Lily Mohammed on GHOne TV, following the government’s announcement of a new partnership with MultiChoice Africa.

According to the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, the agreement with MultiChoice Africa will allow DStv subscribers in Ghana to enjoy up to 50% more value on their packages starting October 1, 2025.

In addition, officials highlighted growing concerns about cross-border piracy, particularly the illegal sale and use of Nigerian decoders in Ghana.

To tackle this, a Working Group made up of the Ministry, the National Communications Authority, the Cyber Security Authority, the Ghana Revenue Authority, the Police Service, and other stakeholders will be formed to develop and enforce anti-piracy strategies.

Authorities say the practice has led to revenue losses for the state and denied customers access to proper support services.
